Jean Claude Banville

He was born July 20, 1943 in Daigle, ME, son of the late Claude and Alma (Nadeau) Banville.

He had bee employed at Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in Middletown for 47 years. Mr. Banville was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus and the French Club in New Britain. He was an avid fan of the Boston Redsox, the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics.

Besides his wife he is survived by a son Michael Banville of Southington, and a daughter Darlene Dawson and her companion Patrick Bunnell and his granddaughter Ashley Banville, a brother Guy Banville and his wife Rolande of FL, a sister Rajean Chasse and her husband Ralph of Cheshire, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son-in-law Brian Dawson and a brother Roger Banville.

The Funeral will be held Saturday Jan.22, 2011,9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Dominic Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday Jan. 21, 2011 from 5-8 p.m.
