

Born in Waterbury on February 20, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Catherina (Fleres) Como. She was a Wolcott resident since 1955 and a parishioner of St. Pius X Church.
Jennie was completely devoted to her family. She loved to cook and bake and made the best lemon cookies. She also loved her pets especially Baby and Dakota. As a young lady, she worked as clothing model.
Jennie is survived by five children, Grace and her husband Alexander Lerz of Waterbury, Patricia and her husband Charles Jarjura, Judith Giannetto all of Wolcott, Vincent and his wife Debra Giannetto of Watertown, Sandra and her husband Edward Lane with whom she resided in Wolcott. She also leaves her thirteen grandchildren Rudolph Lerz, Deborah and her husband Charles Staebler, Jennifer and her husband Thomas Arnold, Joseph and his wife Nickol Jarjura, Jamie and Danielle Jarjura, Teralyn, Marci and Jason LaChance, Stephanie, Kristie, and Jessica Giannetto, and Kelley Lane, four great grandchildren Logan,Makelle, Dilyn and Sutton. Besides her beloved husband Vincent, she was predeceased by two brothers Fred and Nino Como, three sisters Josephine Christolini, Mary Cucchiara, and Carmella Jacovich.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday at St. Pius X Church 525 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
