Born on October 21, 1931 in Bridgeport son of the late Morris and Jean (Goldberg) Miller. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Prior to entering in the Army he was an Athletic Coach at Yale University. He continued his athleticism by getting into weight training after his discharge from the Army. His greatest passion was inventing and tinkering with things.
Jerome is survived by two step-daughters Patricia Fowler of Durham and Nancy Lee Everett of FL, and a special granddaughter Jamie Lee Hawkins whom he referred to as ?two-two? and her husband Stuart of Wallingford.
There were no calling hours. A private burial will be held in the spring at Oak Hill Cemetery. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. is assisting the family with arrangements.
