

Jack was born in Southington on June 27, 1942 son of the late Emilio F. and Ethel W. (King) Grillo. He was the owner and operator of JJ?s Trucking. He loved Nascar, Connecticut Fairs, tractor pulls, car shows, Touch a Truck and meeting people.
Besides Peggy, Jack is survived a sister Viola Carr of Southington and a brother David Grillo, Peggy?s sister Marilynn Morin and husband Thomas of Torrington and their children USAF Staff Sergeant Blair Morin and wife Sarah of Minot AFB, ND and Army PFC Christopher Morin Ft. Leavenworth, KS.
Besides his parents, Jack was predeceased by a brother Fred E. Grillo,
A Funeral service will be held Monday at 8 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. in Southington. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Cemetery, Meriden Ave. Southington. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may made in his memory to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 75817, Topeka, KS 66675 or St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
