John E. Ploszay

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. the son fot he late Stanislaw and Kathrine (Magda) Ploszay. Prior to his retirement in 1972 he was employed by New Departure-Hyatt division of G.M. He was a member of UAW Local #626, the Calendar House and AARP. He was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church.

In addition to his he is survived by his son Robert A. Ploszay of Southington, 2 grandsons Jeffery and Charles Ploszay, 6 sisters, Rose Fede of Bristol, Florence Blakesley of Forestville, Agnes Heath, Frances Pernal, Marion Cavalieri all of Southington and Jean Beatty of S.C. also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased 2 sons John Jr. and Richard Ploszay.

The Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday from 6-8 p.m.
