

SOUTHINGTON- Jordan Timothy Hughes 13, went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 7, 2012 at HCC at Bradley Memorial. Jordan was the son of Terri Clausen of Southington and Harold M. Hughes of Waterbury.
Jordan was born in Waterbury on January 22, 1998 and was currently a seventh grader at J.F. Kennedy Middle School in Southington. He was a member of Christ Community Church in Cheshire where he was a Junior Usher, an active member in their Junior High Youth Group the AWANA Club, holding the position of games coordinator.
He was a WWI and WWII history buff fluent in military tanks and planes and his favorite video game was ?Call To Duty?. He adored his sisters? hamster.
Jordan received a heart transplant as an infant and was a Make-A-Wish child. He loved to attend the ?Hope with Heart Summer Camp? for children with heart transplants and pacemakers.
Besides his parents Jordan is survived by his brothers Benjamin and Branden Hughes and his sister Taylor Hughes all of Southington. He also leaves his maternal grandparents Ronald and Elaine Clausen of Andover, MA, his paternal grandparents Harold and Elma Hughes of Deland, FL, his uncle Scott Clausen and wife Lisa and aunt Erica Clausen and many cousins including Deven, Amber and Maranda Clausen.
Funeral Services will be Thursday 11 AM at the Christ Community Church 120 Main St. Cheshire. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. Southington and Thursday morning 10 to 11 AM at the Church.
