Jose Mora

Jose was born in Manhattan, NY on May 7, 1939 to Jose and Celeste Mora. He moved to Florida in December 2003 from Southington, CT. A proud veteran, Jose spent 26 years in the United States Army. After his retirement from the Army, Jose worked for eight years for the State of Connecticut. He was a member of Grace Methodist Church and the American Legion both in Southington, CT.

Besides his wife, he is survived 2 daughters: Linette C. Mora of Newington and Lorie Anne Mora of Bristol, 3 Sons: David J. Mora of Bristol, William J. Mora of Daytona Beach, FL, and Robert E. Mora of Southington, 1 Sister: Eleanor Mora of Palm Coast, FL, 6 grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 11:00 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Burial with Military Honors will be at Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 6-8 pm.
