Joseph was born on August 19, 1985 in New Britain. He was the beloved son of Salvatrice Manuele-Caccomo and stepfather Giovanni Caccomo and father Roland L. Crapo II.
Joey had a heart of gold and would help anyone. He loved fishing, camping and the beach. He had a passion for and was very talented in drawing and as a talented barber. He was a “Bull” when it came to working as a roofer and a mason, skills he learned from his “Nonno” Sebastiano Manuele. He was extremely close to his “Nonno”. Joey’s goofiness, laughter, and love for life will be forever treasured and missed.
In addition to his parents, he leaves behind his beloved daughter Bella Rose Crapo, whom he endearingly called “Monkey” and was the love of his life, his brothers Michael Primo and his wife Valerie, Jason Crapo and his wife Alyssa, and his little sister Tanina Sentementes and step brother Jonathan Caccomo, his maternal grandparents whom he loved dearly Sebastiano “Nonno” Manuele and Gaetana “Nonna” Manuele of Plantsville, his paternal grandparents Roland L. Crapo I, Helen Dostie and her husband Edward. He also leaves behind uncles Sebastiano Manuele and his wife Elizabeth of Farmington, Salvatore Manuele and his wife Michelle of Florida, many more uncles and aunts, his seven nieces; Alexis, Madison, Haley Primo, Leanna, Alexa and Hannah Crapo whom he adored, and many cousins in CT & FL., as well as many other family and friends.
