Joyce (Meleski) Vicas, 64, of Waterbury passed away at her home on October 4, 2014. Joyce was born on April 22, 1950 in Southington, and was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Lackey) Meleski. She was a parishioner of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Waterbury.
Joyce is survived by her 2 daughters Tracy Kraft of Plantsville and Jolene Cote of Winston Salem NC. She also leaves three grandchildren Kyle and Alyssa Kraft and Ethan Cote, along with two sisters Diane Gelinas and Mary Dorio both of Farmington.
A mass will be held in her memory at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception 74 W. Main St. in Waterbury on Saturday October 11, at 11 am. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. Southington is assisting the family.
