

June Carol Alger, 83, of Southington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in the comfort of her home, lovingly surrounded by her daughters. She was the devoted and cherished wife of the late Floyd Alger, with whom she shared 62 beautiful years of marriage.
Born on June 13, 1941, in Southington, June was the beloved daughter of the late Rocco and Edna (Egidio) Angelone. A lifelong resident of Southington, June’s life was rooted in love, generosity, and deep devotion to her family.
Family was the heart of everything June did. She found her greatest joy in the everyday moments-preparing holiday meals, planning special gatherings, shopping for just the right gift, and creating lasting traditions with those she held dear. Her warmth and unwavering dedication made every family event feel magical and meaningful.
June leaves behind a legacy of love and is survived by her two daughters, Laurie Kobles and her husband Bruce of Bristol, and Christine DelBuono and her husband Sal of Southington. Her brothers Richard Angelone and Jean, Ronald Angelone and his wife Barbara, her sister in law Ann Alger and the late Ernest Alger, and several nieces and nephews.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Sheena Welch and her husband John of Bristol, Marisa Gauthier and her husband Evan of Higganum, Matthew DelBuono of Southington, and Josh Kobles of Burlington. June’s heart overflowed with love for her great-grandchildren, Nico, Owen, and Olivia, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Her family will receive visitors and friends on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 9 -11:00 AM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Burial will immediately follow at 11:15 AM at St. Thomas Cemetery, Southington.
