My niece Kathy was a great neice, mom and absolutely loved people. God has another angel and she is so missed and will always be in my thoughts and prayers.  She was always special to me and called me her Susie Mommy. I miss you my girl and always will. We had great memories and lots of fun and laughter. My Sweet Katherine, many memories flood my mind but one that I will start with is our canoe trips. You made them fun. One time I pulled into a shady area and I stood up to stretch and you were looking up  pretending to take a picture ( before cell phones ) She said she was taking a mental picture and I thought that was the cutest thing with her smiling eyes and impish grin. You will be truly missed and we will keep your memory alive for the little ones you love so much. Sweet Dreams.

I was so pleased to have seen you at her Aunt Eileen's.   The last time I saw you in person was when you were a little girl.  Your Aunt kept me up with your life and your children, which made me a part of the family.  I personally met your daughter, your grandchildren and your son.  May they share many happy memories of you until you meet with them again.  My condolences to the entire family and extended family.

Hey mom, I love you soooo much and I missed you sooo much throughout the years that we were apart, and the days that I did get to have with you meant a lot to me even if I didn't show it much. I remember the days we used to have back in wheeler village and all the good times we used to have, the times we used to spend watching movies on the couch and the stupid lil bees that stung me on my stomach and forehead lol 😆  the big spider on the wall that we killed and squished and it left the biggest brown stain that stayed there on that wall from then till the time we moved out. I remember the days I would get really sick and you would always be right there by my side making me feel better and rubbing my back so I could breath better... I also remember the music you would play for me and how you always had a way of getting me hooked on it and I would always sing and dance my lil heart out to it making you laugh and smile and I did all of that because of how much I love you. How I would always listen to gobsmack the song "I stand alone" and get all serious and into it when singing it and making you and chrissy laugh. The time I got ahold of your Ted nugent cd and jammed my ass off to that cd and you caught me and you thought it was the best thing ever lol I'll always remember the day at Shelly's house I saw the skunk and stupidly pulled on its tail thinking it was Shelly's cat when it sure wasn't and I ended up getting sprayed by it and I ended up making both you and shelly smell like skunk for days and days after that lmaoo 🤣  and ma I understand why you had to leave chrissy and I and I will never hold it against you, you had to do what was best for us by having aunt annie and uncle take us in. I really did miss you those days that we were apart and even then we still kept in touch from time to time. I'm also glad for going out to Delaware  3 years ago to get away from my life for awhile here in Connecticut and to dry out and spend quality time with you!

....I just want you to know even though some bad things did happen I always loved you and I will always still love you for the rest of my life. You did what you thought was the best for us and I love you for that. I love you soo much and chrissy and I will always love you and have you in our hearts! We miss you soo much ma ❤  I love you ma and now you're in heaven resting in peace and you're with grandma and nana now. I love you sooo much,

Kathy, You and Karl were like my kids ..my first two kids especially when I was training you for Taekwondo, when every time we were practicing you would do a kick and out came Toots Toots and more toots which brought us to a laughing halt .... all in all you will be missed deeply you've given me many Happy Memories to keep you near me....now you will Hurt No More, give Nana and Grandpa Roger a huge hello, I love you infinity, Luis  ❤😇❤

Dear Kathy, I didn’t have enough time getting to know you, but you made my summer in FL as a kid very memorable. My favorite part was freezing all of Dad’s undies the night before he had to go to work. So ornery! And keeping us WV kiddos safe during our first hurricane.  Lol letting us swing on palm tree leaves while we were in the Eye. I love to tell that story. 
You were so full of life and had so much love to give, and I felt it from afar. I’ll never forget when you called us to tell us you were pregnant with James! You were so very excited! I’m happy for the few memories we have together! But I’ll never forget getting scolded for being a bad influence on Chrissy haha What are Big Sisters for?? In your memory, I plan to make more of an effort to be in Chrissy and James’ lives. I’m saddened by the fact that we won’t have a chance to all be together someday. Thank you for always making an effort to reach out to me and check in. I’ll always think of you now when I sing along to “You Gotta Be.”  Rest easy sweet lady! I hope all your pain and suffering is over and you can enjoy eternity surrounded by beauty and easy breathing. All my love, Sherri Baby. 

I will never forget you all those times I slept over you guises house we used to go driving in your convertible all the time we thought we were so cool you were like my second mom and every time we got together it was a blast I also remember sleeping over every Easter! I’m also so happy that you got to meet my daughter and she loves you like crazy!!! I’m so happy that we got to spend a lot of time together before you passed you are an amazing woman now it’s time to rest no more pain for you and that makes me happy to know !!! My cousin Kathy was a beautiful, wild, caring soul! She had a big heart! I remember when she had her white convertible and we would go riding around town top down, hair blowing ..she was a lot fun. She was big sister figure for me at times for sure....she was always there for me when I needed someone to talk to and she would never hesitate for a second to stick up for a loved one whether it be family or friends! I will truly cherish the memories we had ! Love you Kathy so much ..rest peacefully! ❤️ 

Kathy my girl. You are the daughter I never was able to have.  You have been so special to me.  We shared so many great memories together. From watching Star trek marathons with mom and nana all night, snacking and napping together through the night. And the times we took  our dog Ginger to burger king for lunch with us buying her a burger and watching her eat the whole thing including the bun.  And the morning when we had a bad snow storm and we both took nana's car ( without her knowing) to get kerosene for the house to keep the family warm. Yup, we were the only fools out in the storm but made it safe. And no one woke up and we made it home safe.  You sent me funny pictures when I didn't expect it and made my day. And we loved the same music. Who knew! There's so many things we shared together and I loved talking with you even when I couldn't get a word in on the conversation lol. You always had a knack for gab. I can say so much more but my heart is hurting because you should be here for me to tell you in person.  Your life ended to short. You are and always will be my girl and I will always be your Susie mommy.  I know your safe in heaven and God has a new angel, and mom, nana,  grampa Roger and your aunts and uncle are with you. You were always a little more adventurous than me, I think this is why we got along so well as kids.  I always looked forward to the sleepovers.  Hanging out at my favorite house on Main Street and making tree forts out in front.  I wish I could go back in time and re-live those days to better appreciate them. 22 years ago at a little store in Denver NC this sweet little girl come in,but she was like hanging out.Her mom was next door at the car lot.After a hour or so I told her go tell mom to come meet me if I was babysetting.lol....Fes minute later a lady walked in laughing hard...and that was the beginning of a life LONG friendship.Sistership.Kathy no matter the time or miles we always made it back to each other.Some how even if ONLY phone.I will find my way back to u again my dear sister and look out heaven.from my soul I love u


I remember when you were born and your growing years thereafter, you were such a spunky kid always wanting to please. Your love for your family never wavered especially with your Children. You will now join your Mother with the rest of your family who have gone before you and continue to be spunky as ever.....RIP Kathy

Thank you for all of the memories over the last 10 years. You’ve always been an ear for me to vent to and god knows some times I needed it. I would do anything to have one more conversation with you, even if it was about “rocks”, or the start of the 45 minute process of getting off the phone with you! I love you forever and always 

So many great memories of my Kit Kat.  Our wedding 43 years ago was amazing.  She wore the finest Star Wars pillowcases wedding veil and I was dressed to the nines in my Green Lantern "Underroos".  We shaved our eyebrows and... of course... donned permanent markers on our faces to show our love of the band KISS.  You would not believe how upset Peter Chris and Paul Stanley's moms were!

Our lives may have had their own paths, but they always seemed to find a way to cross over the years.  Every one of those moments was a highlight in my life and one I will cherish forever.  I cannot recall a single disagreement or negative word between us.  She always brought happiness into my life.

I love you, Kit Kat.  We will see each other again.

Aunt Kathy,

I remember when I was 13 or 14 my mom had decided to move up to Connecticut with Kathy. I didn't want my mom to go alone so I came with her and I only made it about 2 weeks.haha..i got so homesick that I physically got sick.. i was running a 103 degree temperature and waiting on my ride home and aunt Kathy held me in her arms for a good while just telling me she loved me.. im of no blood relation but this women never made me feel that way. I love you aunt Kathy and whatever is waiting for all of us on the other side I hope ill get to see you agian..
