

Lester L. Pierson Jr., 47, of Southington passed away on Sunday, Sept.29, 2013 at Home, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer He was the husband of Violet (Depa) Pierson.
He was born on Nov. 30, 1965 in Waterbury the son of Rita (Drouin) LaChance of Waterbury and the late Lester L. Pierson Sr.
He was an account manager for Cartus in Danbury, he will be remembered by his many friends he had made their.
Les was a soccer coach for various Southington Youth leagues for over 10 years. He loved his dogs, to travel, play golf and go fishing. Lester was a eternal optimist who could always find the best in people. He was passionate about many things including politics, social issues, the Boston Red Sox, Dallas Cowboy and Boston Bruins but most importantly he was passionate about his wife and two sons.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his children, Nicholas and Jonathan Pierson of Southington, his step father Robert J. LaChance of Waterbury, a brother Robert M. LaChance of Meriden, 4 sisters, Wendy Pratt of New Hampshire, Tracy Bette of Southbury, Robyn Bergin of Terryville and Brandy LaChance of Waterbury, his mother and father-in-law Wieslawa and Wladyslaw Depa of Southington. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and many loving and longtime friends.
His Funeral will be held on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Aloysius Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
