Marie Rachel Fedora Sullivan, beloved wife of the late Jerry Sullivan, affectionately known as “Dora”, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left us peacefully on March 2, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on April 26, 1936, in Biddeford, ME, to the late Albert and Bernadette (LaVerriere) Henri, Dora spent much of her life in Southington, CT, where she was a cherished resident for over 60 years.
Dora led a hardworking life, notably as a Tool Crib Attendant for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft and as a part-time clerk for Patrick Baker and Sons for over 14 years. Her dedication and work ethic were matched only by her infectious personality and love for those around her.
An avid card player, Dora was known as the "Queen of Cribbage" and loved spending time playing Bingo with friends and family. A true competitor, she relished in the thrill of the game and always brought laughter and joy to every table. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, quick wit, and her ability to always tell it how it is.
Above all, Dora’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Kevin Sullivan and his fiancée Kathleen, and Shawn Sullivan and his wife Robin. Her love extended to her grandchildren, Dustin and his wife Alyssa, Chelsey, and Casey and her fiancée Luke, her cherished great-grandsons Cameron and Jack, as well as her step-grandchildren Melissa Fitzgerald (Brady) and Eric Muroski (Jackie), and step-great-grandchildren Lucas, Landon, Juliana, Josie, and Murphy Mae.
Dora was predeceased by her three brothers, Joseph, Florel, and Felix Henri, as well as her two sisters, Floriette Cote and Fern Gardner, and her beloved grandson, Corey Sullivan.
In addition to her family, Marie is survived by her closest friends, Lucille Perry and Rose Marie Cianci, who were more like sisters to her. Together, they shared countless memories and moments that will forever be cherished.
