Marjorie Niebling

Marjorie was the wife of the late Robert H. Niebling Sr. She was born on May 27, 1919 in Bristol, the daughter of the late Milo and Estella (Losey) Cook.

Marjorie was an avid knitter and bird watcher. She was a loyal fan of UCONN Women?s Basketball. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the Southington Historical Society.

Above all she loved her family and the highlight of holiday gatherings was her delicious homemade pies.

Marjorie is survived by her children Suzanne and husband David Buzanoski of Falmouth, MA, Carol and husband Richard Jones of Lyme, and Robert H. Niebling Jr. and wife Tracy of Cheshire, her grandchildren Carolyn, Christopher, Meredith, Benjamin, Andrew, Lauren, Justin, and Jacob, great-grandchildren Nicholas and David, also several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her brothers Kenneth and Stuart Cook.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers from Transitions LLC and especially, Ms. Zona ?Bev? Coley and Becca Santulli for their extraordinary care and comfort which they afforded Marjorie in her last days.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday May 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4-6 p.m.
