Mary G. Houle

Southington- Mary G. Houle, 86, of Summerfield, FL and formerly of  Meriden Waterbury Rd. passed away Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008 at the Ocala Health and Rehabilitation in Ocala, FL. She was the wife of the late Philip H. Houle.

She was born March 1, 1922 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Schaffer) Gaug. She had retired from Pratt & Whitney after 34 years.

Mrs. Houle had been a parishioner of St. Aloysius Church.

She is survived by 4 sons, Stephen Houle and his wife Kathy of MA, Philip Houle and his wife Patricia of Southington, James Houle and his wife Faeth and Richard Houle and his wife Catherine all of FL, 9 grandchildren, Pamela Houle, Laura Carew, Noreen Patterson, Lisa Carlone, Michael Houle, Todd Houle, Nicole Waiknoris, Wendy Houle and Ricky Houle, 15 great grandchildren, a sisters, Dorothy Puglist of Plymouth. She was predeceased by a sister Margaret Gagne and a brother Peter Gaug.

The Funeral will be held Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, 254 Burritt St., Plantsville.  Burial will be in St. Bridget’s Cemetery in Cheshire. Calling hours will be Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St.
