Maurice DeLuco

He was born on April 28, 1945 in Berkley, CA, the son of the late Alfred and Marguerite (Stuedle) DeLuco. Maurice served in the Army National Guard. He was employed by the Southington Board of Education for many years.

He was parishioner of St. Aloysius Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Michael and wife Beth DeLuco of Plantsville and a daughter Krystin and husband Steven Monahan of Southington. He was the loving papa of five granddaughters Brittanie DeLuco, Kyra DeLuco, and Mara DeLuco, Mackenzie Monahan and Taylor Monahan. He is also survived by a brother-in-law Robert Lasbury and wife Joanne, two nieces , a nephew, their children, and several aunts uncles and cousins. `

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14th at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Aloysius Church 254 Burritt St. in Plantsville at 10 a.m. Burial will be at South End Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-7 p.m.
