Michelina Palladino, 76, of Cheshire, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, at Yale New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus, with her loving family by her side. Born on December 21, 1948, in Sturno, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Angelina (Capobianco) Moccia.
Michelina was the devoted wife of the late Joseph Palladino, who predeceased her in 1989. Educated in Italy, she worked as a skilled seamstress, a craft that reflected her patience, creativity, and attention to detail. Her warmth, hospitality, and joyful spirit will long be remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Francesca Palladino-Welburn, and her husband, Zach; her cherished granddaughter, Abigail Michaela Welburn; her sisters Filomena Arisco, Adele Moccia and her husband Tomasso, and Elvira Moccia; her sister-in-law Angela Palladino; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
Michelina was predeceased by her sister Maria Moccia, and brothers-in-law Michael Arisco and Anthony Palladino
