Michelle A. Barrett

She was born on March 30, 1977 in Waterbury the daughter of Patricia (McCarthy) Barrett and the late Jack Barrett. She was a lead phlebotomist for the Harold Leever Cancer Center in Waterbury.

In addition to her mother Patricia Barrett and the late Jack Barrett of Middlebury she is survived by her son Christian Barrett of Plantsville, brothers Gary Barrett, wife Jill and nephew Kaden of Wallingford, Michael Barrett, wife Jessica and nephew Brayden of South Carolina, her maternal grandmother June McCarthy and the late Joseph McCarthy of Plantsville, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Michelle will be remembered by her kind heart, she was always willing to help those in need and her beautiful smile lit up a room. She loved to joke around and had a great sense of humor. She was an avid animal lover but most of all she loved her family. Michelle has touched many people's lives and will be missed by all who knew her.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday June 10th from 1-4 pm at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Michelle Barrett Donation Fund at Wells Fargo Bank for her son Christian Barrett.
