

Born on November 26, 1933 in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmela (Recchia) Garafola. She lived many years in Waterbury working at Uniroyal in Naugatuck and Hemingway and Bartlett in Watertown before relocating to Boca Raton, Florida.
Norma enjoyed playing Words with Friends, lotto, going to the movies with her niece Irene and making trips to the casino. She also enjoyed looking at google photos and videos of her great grandchildren. She was incredibly tech savvy and had an Instagram page before any one in her family and even joined the FB trend at its peak.
She is survived by her three children, Norine McDermott of Plantsville, John “Butch” Tuttle Jr. and wife Sandra of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Steven Tuttle and his wife Mary of Boca Raton, FL; 8 grandchildren, Patrick McDermott of Salt Lake City, UT, Monica Dale of Manchester, Christopher Tuttle, Brian Tuttle and John Tuttle all of Port St. Lucie, FL, Jessica Barclay of PA, Alex Tuttle and Stephanie Tuttle both of Boca Raton, FL; 5 great-grandchildren. She also is survived by her niece Irene DiLuca and her two children and nephew Arthur D’Almedia and his son.
Norma was predeceased by her brother Albert Garafola and a sister Josephine Carusillo as well as her son-in- law Harold McDermott.
