Patricia A. Clement

WATERTOWN- Patricia A. Clement, PhD., went to join God and her family in heaven on Saturday December 27, at the age of 68.

Pat was born in Waterbury on March 17, 1941, the third child of the late Leo and Leonette (Normandin) Clement. She graduated from St. Mary?s Hospital School of Nursing in 1963 and enjoyed a forty year career at the hospital. She was the vice president of Perioperative Services at the time of her retirement six years ago. She earned a BA at Central CT State University, her Masters and PhD at the University of New Haven. She was a parishioner of the Shrine of St. Anne and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. Pat was a dedicated professional serving on the executive committee of the Association of Operation Room Nurses and was often a lector for that association. She was a member of several other professional organizations and had received many professional awards.

Pat is survived by her sister Joan and her husband Brian Normandin of Torrington, her brothers Robert and his wife Ginette Clement of Goshen, Paul and his wife Doris Clement of Wolcott, Ronald and his wife Nancy of Prospect, Gilbert Clement of Watertown, Dr. Raymond and his wife Terry Clement of Middlebury, her lifelong friend Maureen Schiffmiller and her daughter Ashley Schiffmiller both of Watertown, and a son Wilson Clement of Waterbury. She was predeceased by two brothers Richard and Dennis Clement.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday December 30, at the Shrine of St. Anne 515 South Main St. Waterbury. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive condolences on Wednesday morning at the church from 10 AM until the time of the mass.
