Born on February 5, 1954, in Mineola, New York, Pat grew up on Long Island, where she earned her associate’s degree and began her career. It was there that she met the love of her life, Robert (Rob) Sepp and later would welcome their daughter, Jennifer (Jen). In 1988, the family moved to Cheshire, Connecticut, and made their home there for 25 years before later relocating to Southington.
Pat worked for many years for the Town of Cheshire, first as Assistant Registrar of Voters and later as Executive Assistant in the Office of the Town Manager. She was known for her dedication, warmth, and wonderful sense of humor.
A devout Catholic, Pat lived her faith deeply and actively, serving as a regular parishioner and volunteer alongside Rob, first at St. Bridget’s Church in Cheshire and later at Immaculate Conception Church, now St. Luke’s Parish, in Southington. She will be remembered most for her infectious laughter, quick wit, and her desire to bring joy to everyone around her. She was also a gifted seamstress, needleworker, and crocheter, talents passed down through generations and lovingly shared with her daughter.
Pat is survived by her devoted husband, Rob, and daughter, Jen. Pat’s laughter, kindness, and creativity will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Jerome Home for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Pat over the past year and a half. Their care and knowledge of how to address the complexities of those with dementia made all the difference for her and her family.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 4, from 12:00–3:00 p.m. at Della Vecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Southington. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at St. Luke Parish – The Church of St. Dominic, 1050 Flanders Road, Southington, followed by burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Plantsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jerome Home, 975 Corbin Ave, New Britain, CT 06052
