Ralph Warner

WOLCOTT- Mr. Ralph L. Warner, age 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at his home in Wolcott. He was the beloved husband of Dorothy Bellmay Warner and the son of the late Minnie N. (Warner) Bergen and the late John A. Warner.

A lifelong resident of Wolcott, Ralph graduated from Wilby High School and received his Associate’s Degree from Post College. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948. He was a longtime employee of Colonial Bank and Trust and later The Hartford Insurance Company.

Besides his wife of 61 years, he is survived by his daughter Leslie Warner-Maloney and her husband Kevin Maloney; his daughter-in-law Beth Warner; his son Rodney Warner and his wife Roberta; and his seven grandchildren: Shannon Maloney Redmon, Laura Maloney, Erik Maloney, Kyle Warner, Colin Warner, Brian Warner, and Kaitlin Warner. He is also survived by his brother Wilfred and his sister-in law Ruth Warner. He is predeceased by his son Ralph (Bart) Warner and his sister Elaine King.

Mass will be held at St. Pius X Church in Wolcott on Monday, June 1, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday, May 31, from 4 to 7 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 690 Woodtick Road, Wolcott.
