Born on January 7, 1928, in Bristol, CT., a son of the late Romeo and Catherine (Thibodeau) Noel. Raymond earned a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering, which laid the foundation for a distinguished career. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War, demonstrating his dedication and patriotism. Following his military service, Raymond had a long and successful career with General Electric as a Facilities Engineer.
Raymond was married to his loving wife, Helen C. Hanecak Noel, for 54 years, sharing a wonderful and fulfilled marriage characterized by understanding and support. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Raymond Noel and his wife Kathy, and his daughter, Karen Rae Dunlevy and her husband Kevin. Raymond was also the proud grandfather to Kimberly, Kent, and Max.
In his personal life, Raymond retired from General Electric in Plainville, CT at age 58. He enjoyed league bowling in the winters shooting a high score of 299! He played golf throughout his adulthood through the age of 96. He was very competitive in golf tournaments winning his age group several times. He shot his age (in golf) at 68!
