Robert E. Duguay

Born in Waterbury on March 28, 1964, he was the son of the late Robert and Lucille (Noel) Duguay Sr. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School Class of 1982. Bob was looked up to (lol) by everyone as a mentor, counselor and friend. During his career as a paramedic, he was proud to have been the first Medic6 in Winsted serving the northwest corner with Campion Ambulance. He ended his watch sharing his passion and knowledge with his colleagues and friends at Vintech Management and AMR New Haven.

Besides his wife of 33 years, he leaves the joy of his life, his children, Robert Duguay III of Waterbury, Melissa, Christina, Hospitalman Michael (USN) and Julia Duguay all of Wolcott, his grand pets Max, Tiger and Joey, his sister Susan and her husband Donald Bergeron of Sept Isle, P.Q. Canada, several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother Kenneth Duguay.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday August 6, at 9:30 AM at St. Francis Xavier Church 625 Baldwin St. in Waterbury. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Sunday from 4 to 8 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd in Wolcott.
