Robert F. Albrecht

Born August 17, 1960 in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was the son of William M. and Ann (Juliano) Albrecht of Wappingers Falls, NY.

Bob was a parishioner of St. Dominic Church and also taught religious education there.

He was employed by Mecanex USA in Bristol.

Bob?s devotion was to youth athletics. He coached soccer, softball and basketball for many years. He was also an umpire for several softball organizations.

Besides his wife and parents, he leaves his children, the loves of his life, Amanda Albrecht and Edward Pratte of Southington, Marilyn Albrecht of New Brunswick, NJ and Matthew Albrecht of Southington; his granddaughter Gianna Pratte, who he adored; a brother William Albrecht and wife Debra of N. Conway, NH; two sisters, Patricia Wendover and husband Daniel and Eileen Clark and husband Scott all of Charlotte, NC; his mother-in-law, Shirley Leneker of Verona, NY and his beloved nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Southington YMCA Camp Sloper Fund, 29 High St., Southington, CT 06489. Calling hours will be Sunday from 12 - 3 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N.Main St., Southington. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington on Monday for a 10 am Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
