

He was born on May 30, 1933, the son of the late Victor and Marie (Watras) Mase. Prior to his retirement he was employed for 49 years with Suzio Trap Rock.
He was a Past President of the state and local Men's Bowling Association and was inducted into the State and Local Hall of Fame. He was a former 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Teamster Local #677. Bob volunteered at the Meriden soup kitchen and also with the food pantry at Holy Angels Church. He received the St. Joseph Medal of Honor at Holy Angels. He was an avid UCONN girls' basketball follower.
He is survived by his daughters, Deborah and husband Louis Cordova, Donna and husband Peter Kasperzyk all of S. Meriden, Darlene Davis and Gianna Mongillo of Meriden, Roberta and husband Gene LaBranche of Port St. Lucie, FL and adopted daughter Millie Espinosa of FL. 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild. He also leaves his brother Richard and wife Carol Mase of FL, and his sister-in-law Molly and husband Earl DeSorbo of Plantsville, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Heidi Ann Cordova and three brothers.
A Mass will be held at the Holy Angels Church, 585 Main St. in South Meriden on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 10 am. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
