Ronald H. Heidorn

Ronald was born on June 8, 1949 in Waterbury and was the son of the late Henry and Marian (Wallace) Heidorn. He was educated in the Wolcott school system and graduated from Wolcott High School. Ronald was a talented tool and die maker, retiring from Winchester Electronics after many years of dedicated service. In his spare time, he loved to play golf, read, watch movies, cook and bake meals for his family, as well as cheer for UCONN basketball teams, which he was an avid fan of. He also enjoyed listening to music, especially classic rock.

Ron is survived by his two children, Zachary Heidorn of Astoria, NY, and Aubrey Heidorn of Plainville and by his granddaughter, Payton Burbige, also of Plainville. Additionally, he is survived by his sisters, Marilynn Book and her husband Charlie of Wolcott and Janet Frink and her husband Ken of Florida, as well as a brother in law Michael McLaughlin of Wolcott. Ronald is predeceased by his sister, Carolyn McLaughlin.

Calling hours for Ronald will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Della Vecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington, CT 06489.
