Ruth Olson

Born May 3, 1922 in Cheshire, the daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Lincoln) Johnson.

Ruth is survived by two sons Timothy Olson and his wife Vicky of W. Suffield and John P. Olson of Southington, five grandsons, Jay and his wife Lisa, Michael and his wife Michelle, Christopher, Matthew and Aaron, three great grandchildren Andrew, Jonathan and Emily; one brother, Willis Johnson of Cheshire and a sister Alice Buckland of Cheshire and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Johnson and a sister Dorothy Worthington. Ruth's family would like to thank the staff of the Plainville Health Care Center for their many years of loving care they gave their mother.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church, 121 Pleasant St., Southington. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m at the DelleVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, 121 Pleasant St., Southington, CT 06489.
