Steven D. Hilton

Born in Long Island, NY, he was the son of the late William and Edith (Seaman) Hilton.

Steven retired in 2007 from the U.S. Post Office in Southington. He was a volunteer fireman with Company 5 and past president of the Plainville Midget Football League. He was a lifelong member of the Southington Golden Crusaders Drum Corp and was considered the D. Daddy and #1 fan of the CT Crush Women’s Football Team.

In addition to his wife he leaves his son, Eric Hilton and wife Antoinette of Plainville, a sister Linda St. Pierre and husband Jim of Southington; he was the loving papa to his three grandchildren, Zaria, Zane and Zyler along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Milton Corriveau.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Calling hours will be prior to from 4-6 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
