Theresa Dickinson

Born April 1, 1951 in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Sebastian and Lucia (Chmielorz) Amenta. Theresa was the owner of Beauty Fashions by Terry for 36 years. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church, a member and past president of the Ladies Guild and a member of the Commission for Disabilities.

In addition to her husband Daniel she leaves their son and daughter-in-law Erick and Kathleen Dickinson of Worchester, MA; three grandchildren, Lisa, Seamus and Connor Dickinson and a half brother, Joseph Amenta of AZ.

She was predeceased by a son Craig Dickinson and a granddaughter Bridget Dickinson.

The funeral will be held Monday, March 31, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St., for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., CT/Western MA Office, 2080 Silas Deane Highway, 2nd floor, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
