Timothy Allen Platt

Born in Meriden on Aug. 28, 1967 the son of Edward M. and Joan A. (Palmer) Platt Jr. of Southington. He was a 1986 graduate of Southington High School. Tim was employed by Gibbs Wire and Steel in Southington. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Southington.  Tim enjoyed taking care of his home and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by 3 brothers; Christopher R. Platt of Southington, Jeffrey R. Platt and wife Beverly of Bristol, Edward M. Platt III and wife Ann of Plantsville, a sister Andrea L Daigle and fiancée Donald Huey Jr. of Terryville. He is also survived by his cherished nieces and nephews; Christopher R. Platt Jr., Dylan Platt, Hannah Platt, Nicholas Daigle, Savannah Huey, and several aunts and uncles.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 30th at a 10 a.m.  at the First Congregational Church, 37 Main St. Southington. Friends and relatives may call at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
