Vincent Iacobucci

Vincent was born on July 19, 1935 in Castel Campagnano (Caserta), Italy. He was the son of the late Salvatore and Rosa (Marcuccio) Iacobucci.

Vincent was a lifelong parishioner of St. Thomas Church and retired from General Electric in 1990 where he served as a quality auditor. He was a proud member of the Sons of Italy Club where he loved to play bocce with his friends. He loved to cheer on his favorite Italian soccer team, Napoli, although he was often frustrated by their play. He loved good food and making good wine. He loved to travel to Puerto Plata with Anna during the cold winter months where they made many friends who all returned together year after year. Most of all, he loved to be with his family.

In addition to his wife Anna he leaves his two daughters, Vira Mastroianni of Plantsville and Roseanne Grindle and husband Gary of Southington; four grandchildren, RJ Mastroianni and wife Emily of Southington, Nick Mastroianni and girlfriend Desire Bragg of Southington, Amanda Manion and husband Benjamin of Virginia and Natalee Grindle of Southington, twin great-grandsons, Gianni and Luca along with several brothers and sisters in law, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Pasquale Mastroianni; two brothers, Virgilio and Adolfo Iacobucci and a sister Raffaela Malgieri.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Dominic Church, 1050 Flanders Rd., Southington. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be prior to the Mass from 11:30-1:00 p.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington.
