Virginia Bushnell

Southington - Virginia D. Bushnell, 84, of Lacey Road., passed away on Monday, July 7, 2008 at the Hospital of St. Raphael?s in New Haven. She was the loving wife for 65 years of Robert C. Bushnell Sr. Born July 11, 1923 in Meriden, she was the daughter of the late Guy Homer and Stella (Raven) Dutton. Virginia was employed by the Beaton-Corbin Mfg. Co. and was a member of the Plantsville Congregational Church. Besides her husband she is survived by her two children, Brenda and her husband Raymond Baran of Plantsville and Robert C. Bushnell Jr. of Madison, a sister Lois Dutton of Meriden; four grandchildren, Robert C. Bushnell III, Lisa Esbaner, Kim Baran and Robin Gardner and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Brian Bushnell, a brother Dudley A. Dutton and a sister Alice Moran. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be in Quinnipiac Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday morning from 9:30-11a.m.
