

Born in Waterbury on December 26, 1923, he was the son of the late John and Jenny (Rossi) Dalfino. He served in the US Army during WWII, participated in the Battle of the Bulge and was a Purple Heart recipient.
Vito retired from Plainville High School where he was custodian for many years. He had also worked at Pratt & Whitney for 15 years. He and Emma lived most of their life in Bristol and were founding parishioners at St. Gregory The Great Church. He was an avid sportsman, played golf and was a fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants.
Besides his wife of 68 years, he is survived by his brothers Joseph Dalfino of New Hartford, Nicholas Dalfino of Bristol, Oronzo, Geatano and Daniel Dalfino all of Tampa, FL, sisters Aurora Trask , Lucricia “Grace” Batterton, Ruth Williams, all of Tampa, FL, and several generations of many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be Thursday 10 AM at St. Thomas Church 99 Bristol St. in Southington followed by burial with full military honors at St. Thomas Cemetery.
