Born on September 19, 1944, in New Britain, he was the son of the late Frank and Jane (DeNunzio) Giannini. William dedicated much of his life to his work at Stanley Works, where he was employed until his well-deserved retirement.
He leaves his son, William "Bill" Giannini and his wife Dawn of Bethlehem; two granddaughters, Brittany Giannini and Taylor Ives, and her husband Jason, all of Bethlehem. He is also survived by his brother Paul Giannini and his wife Sandra of Plainville; his sister Esther Motta of Bristol; his sister-in-law Nancy Giannini of Plainville; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Dominic and John Giannini.
William was known for his strong work ethic, his devotion to family, and his quiet generosity. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him for his warmth, humor, and unwavering support of those he loved.
Services for William will be privately held with his family.
