Born in Hartford on July 23, 1952, and a Southington High School graduate, he was the son of the late Louis Gualano and Theresa (Tessier) Gualano. Billy enjoyed bowling in the Leagues at Laurel Lanes. He also loved to go to the movies, fishing, and playing his PS-3. A passionate gardener, Billy was very devoted to his tomato plants and took special care of them during the summer months. His famous spaghetti sauce and chop suey - the best in the family ? will be missed. Billy was always very knowledgeable of current events. Even though Billy faced physical limitations, he was always faithful in doing chores around the house. Those chores included snow blowing the entire driveway and path, taking out the garbage, and gathering and separating the mail. These selfless acts will be sorely missed.
William is survived by his sister Arlene Lemire with whom he lived in Southington, a brother Richard and his wife Sherry Gualano of Rocky Hill, nieces Naomi Lemire, Alyssa Gualano, nephews Joshua-Caleb Lemire and Cody Gualano.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday October 14, 2013 at 7 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. Southington. Calling hours are Monday from 5 - 7 pm
