Wilma Lafreniere

Born in Frenchville, ME on Nov 18, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Odelie (Marquis) Landgo. She lived in Prospect for over 20 years and moved to Florida after her retirement in 1980. She loved to travel and go to the beach.

Wilma is survived by a son Joseph Lafreniere of Chase Mills, NY, two daughters Cecile Wadinger and her longtime companion Harvey Norton of Boynton Beach, FL, Kathleen and her husband Marshall Yamano of Delray Beach, FL, sisters Juliette Lavigne of Waterbury, Cecile Gelinas of Boynton Beach,FL Joanne Ouellette, CA, ten grandchildren, sixteen greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Gerard Lafreniere, a sister Mrs. Anna Dufour, three brothers, Pete Langdo, Emile Langdo and Camille Langdo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 5, 2009 at The Shrine of St. Anne 515 S. Main St. Waterbury. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
