She leaves a daughter Dorothy B. Simone of Moodus, two grandsons and their wives, Joseph G.Wankerl and Erica King of Plantsville, J. Glenn and Melinda Wankerl of New Britain, four great grandchildren, Joelle, Cody, Frank and Mina, a sister-in-law Clara DiPietro and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, James and Sam DiPietro and two sisters Ann Swanson and Angeline Banulski.
Services will be held at the discretion of the family.
