Anita Stella Broccolo

Anita was born on June 10, 1933 and passed into a new life on August 18, 2012. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Frank (1998), she was the loving and caring mother of Peter (Cecile) and Karen (Rick), a proud and loving grandma and nonna of Maria, Andrew, Joseph, Thomas, Colleen, Caitlyn and Mercedes, and great grandma of Ava, Ella, Wade, Noah, Dylon, Andie and Bailie. Anita was the daughter of the late Domenico Chiola (1988) and the late Annantonia (Leone) Chiola (1985), a loving sibling and best friend to the late Michelina (Lina) Ricci (2010), Iola (Yollie) Wladeka and Ernesto (Ernie) Chiola (Charlotte), and dear sister-in-law to Ida (Broccolo) Luce; she is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff of the Ontario Street Site Dialysis Unit and Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital for their care.

The family will receive friends at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346), on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the chapel on August 22, 2012 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
