It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernard on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Hospice Niagara. Loving husband of Sandra Hunt for 38 wonderful years. Proud father of Andrew, Jeremy, Alicia, Lauren, and David. Brother to Annette, Phillip, and Sylvia. Brother-in-law to Brian Hurley. Uncle to Aidan and Emma Hurley. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bernard was well known for his profession in the Niagara area, maintaining vineyards and orchards, a work he had been doing for well over 40 years.
Cremation has taken place and family will receive friends at the Grimsby Kingdom Hall, 308 Lake St, Grimsby, on October 12th at 5:00pm. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
The family wishes to express a sincere thank you for the care and compassion of the staff at Hospice Niagara, Susan Davis, as well as Dr. Bayley, and Dr. Kerley.
