Passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the St. Catharines Hospital, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Gilles VanHerck (2014). Lovingly remembered by her friend and partner Terry Garwood. Loving Mom of Brad and his wife Lynn Wilson. Cherished Grandma of the late Nicholas Wilson. Survived by her brother Douglas (Ruth) Wilson, and sisters; Myrtle (Dan) Mills and Jessie (Robert) Austin. Predeceased by her siblings; John Wilson, Bill Wilson, Isabel (the late Keith) Krick, Donald, Harry, and Bobby. Survived by her sisters in law Sandra and Heather Wilson. She will be sadly missed by her nephew Randy and his wife Karen Wilson and her nieces; Lori and Lee Ann.
In keeping with Bertha’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 75 Church St. St. Catharines. An interment will be held in the Spring at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations made to The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
