Born February 24, 1929 in Beamsville, Ontario to the late Earl Hoffman and Clara Marguerete (nee Stewart). Passed away peacefully at home December 12, 2018 at Heidehof Seniors’ Apartments at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband and the love of her life, Howard Putman (2003). Devoted mother of the late Carolyn (Denis) Bedard, Doug (Frieda) Putman and Claudette (Don) Morgan. Adored grandmother of Holly (Mike), Denis (Amanda) and Janice; and great grandmother of Kyra and Dario. Predeceased by her siblings; Claude Hoffman, Mary Irene Thomas, Bernice Stanshall, Dorthea Cresswell and Ralph Lewis Hoffman. Fondly remembered by many close friends and relatives. Betty was a long time member of St. Andrews United Church in Port Dalhousie.A heartfelt thanks to her loving friends and staff at Heidehof for their support.Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines (905-684-6316) from 10 – 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. A Celebration of Betty’s life will follow the service in the funeral home. Interment to take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens following the celebration.
