Charles Donald Logan

1924-2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Don Logan on September 19, 2010 at the age of 86. Don will be missed by his children, Jim Logan (Claudia), Janet West (Bill), Rob Logan, and his grandchildren, Daniel, Jessamyn and Craig. Don was predeceased by his wife Gretta in 1965. Don was a chemical engineer, obtaining his doctorate degree at McGill University and working with Ontario Pulp and Paper until his retirement in 1984. Don was an active member of the Probus Club of St. Catharines, the St. Catharines Photographic Club and the Mountainview United Church. Don loved travelling and through amazing photographs, shared his trips with friends and family. He was an avid swimmer and hiker, spending much of his time outdoors. He very much enjoyed playing bridge with his many friends.

A celebration of life will be held at the Mountainview United Church, 150 Glendale Avenue, St. Catharines, on October 4th at 11:00 am, with Rev. Margaret Bain officiating. Reception will follow the service in the church hall. Private family interment at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
