It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Delia Denisko (nee Sullivan) on February 25, 2021 after a valiant battle with dementia. Born in Halifax on March 21, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Delia and James Sullivan.
She was educated and raised in Halifax, and went on to have a career with the Royal Bank in both Halifax and then in Ontario, where she held many senior positions.
Delia is predeceased by her sisters Mary, Marion, brothers Tim, James.
Delia is survived by her husband Nick and sister Esther Taylor, son Stephen and grandchildren Alexander and Danielle, sisters in law Anna Sullivan and Irene Sullivan, Delia will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and her many friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted through Hulse and English Funeral Home in St. Catherine’s. In keeping with Delia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Private Family Internment will be at a later date
The family would like to thank Henley House in St. Catharine’s for their wonderful care and compassion during Delia’s stay.
