Peacefully passed away at his home with his family by his side on Friday, November 19, 2010, at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 46 years to Maureen. Cherished dad of Derek (Karen) and Susan (Darryl) Adgey. Proud grand-dad of Katie Fiona Adgey. Loved brother in law of the Kershaws: Rob, Jack, Gord, Jane, Ann, Irene and the late Michael. Brother of Les (Ann) and Iris (George) Fleming of Scotland. George was employed for many years with General Motors prior to his retirement.
Family and friends will be received at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. 905-684-6346, on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 6 – 9 p.m. A Celebration of George’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the McMasters Children’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated by George and the family.
