Helen Margret Henderson McDonald

Peacefully passed away with family by her side on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Ina Grafton Gage Village, at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth McDonald. Loving mother of James (Barb) McDonald, Betty (Richard) Beachin, Peggy (Jacques) Courcy, and Kathy (Ken) Childs. Cherished Grannie of Scott (Miria) McDonald, Brad (Sandra) Beachin, Megan (Colin) Turnbull, Nicci (Rich) Hingley, Jenni Anderson (Ian Cheyne), and the late Patty. Proud great-grandmother of Daniel, Steven, Gabriel, Aiden, Ashton, Victoria, Mitchell, Isabella, Grace, Abi, Jon, Ian, and Josie. Dear great-great grandmother of Wren. Helen was known to many as the “Fudge Lady from Plymouth Avenue”.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday, August 25, 2014 from 12 p.m. until service time at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, (905-684-6346). A Funeral Service will be held at on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 1 p.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church, 83 Church St. Cremation will follow. A private family interment will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
