Jan Versluis

Peacefully at Shalom Manor on Saturday, December 26, 2015, two days prior to his 89th birthday, Mr. Jan Versluis went home to his Lord. Loving husband of the late Kitty Versluis (2015) for 63 years. Beloved father of John Jr. (Trudy), Leo (Fran), Nellie, the late Chris (Jan (Kathy)), Bill (Peggy), Marg and Ed. Dear Opa to Caroline (Derek), Christel (Mario), Andrew (Maria), Cody (Meg), Jenny, Shaunna, Amelia (Matt), Michael, Alex (Emilee), Lydia, Nick, and Blake. Cherished Great Opa of Alesha, Madison, Bryce, Brianna, Chelsey, Hannah, and Gabriel. Fondly remembered by his extended family.

Family and friends will be received at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 278 Parnell Rd, St. Catharines, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A celebration of Jan’s life will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Covenant Christian Reformed Church at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens prior to the Celebration of Life Service.
