Jessie Ross

It is with deep sadness that her family announces that Jessie passed away peacefully at home, in her 72nd year. Jessie is survived by her children Kathi Foley (Rick), Dan Robson (Lorraine), Patrick Robson (Kelly), Jessica Robson (Mike) and Lisa-an Mackie (Mick), and by siblings Elizabeth, Stanley, Norman and Elaine. Jessie’s life was blessed with grandchildren Kyla Kumar (Kiran) and Michael Szymczyk (Laura), David, Matthew and Christopher Robson, Shelbi and Quinn Robson, Jacqueline D’Alessandro (Kenny) and Evan and Wade Mackie, and by great-grandchildren Ava, Kingston and Karsten. Jessie is also survived by her dear friend Alfred ‘Whitey’ Stockwell. She is predeceased by son David, parents John and Jessie Ross and by late husband Roger Robson.

Jessie’s wish to be cremated has been followed. Jessie’s children invite family and friends to a memorial service and visitation at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 12-1 p.m., with Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. For those wishing to do so, donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Niagara Community Foundation to Support Women’s Educational Opportunities in Jessie’s name.
