John Ross Morden

Passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 75th year. Son of the late Russell and Edith Morden. Dear husband of Pearl (nee Gough). Beloved father of the late Deborah along with John (Stella) Morden, Lynda (Ralph) Berg, Ronald Morden, and Charles (Lisa) Morden. Cherished Papa of Joshua, Jannah, Jonathan, Justin, Jesselyn, Jedidiah, Joanna-Praise, Jamie-Ophlia, Stephen, Nancy, Jesse, Riley, John, Charles and Matthew. Loving Great Grandpapa to Seth. Appreciative Brother-in-law of Raymond and Donna Gough. John worked as a guard at the St. Catharines Jail and the Niagara Detention Center for 27 years retiring in 1994. He was also a member of Westminster United Church where he was married in 1957. He will be remembered for his straightforward, humourous, yet kind approach to life.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 22, 2012 from 1 - 2 p.m. at HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church St. (905-684-6346). A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to take place following the service at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Westminster United Church would be appreciated by the family
