Of St. Catharines, Ontario passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on October 15, 2014. Nancy (Kathleen) was happily married to her best friend, Ross Earl Oke, for 61 memorable years. For years she enjoyed being a mother to her four children. She was also actively involved as a member of Edmison Heights Baptist Church in Peterborough. Nancy is survived by her loving husband Ross, children Marilyn, Larry, Peter, Janet, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family Nancy Oke wish to send heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital and the Linhaven day program.
A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Nancy will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Lakeshore Baptist Church (65 Lakeshore Road) in St. Catharines. If desired, memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Society, the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) or a charity of your choice.
